The new building accommodates 174 supportive housing units, over various lower level program spaces. These include increased program areas for the adjacent First Presbyterian Church of Jamaica, large community facility spaces, medical facility offices, and a parking garage. The building roof accommodates a large array of PV solar panel system. The project was designed to Passive House standards, and is a recipient of the NYSERDA Buildings of Excellence Award.
The building structure utilizes ICF bearing walls and plank construction, with structural steel and plank at lower floors to accommodate 2nd and ground floor community spaces, commercial spaces, and lower level parking.
